Use this application to easily record and analyze your field cage trial data.
1. Enter the number of mosquito populations you want to assess.
2. Select “Generate Field Population tabs” to create the data entry tabs.
3. Once the tabs are generated, you can begin entering your data under the 'Bioassays' tab.
If control mortality exceeds 10%, the field cage trial should be considered invalid, and results should not be interpreted. If control mortality is less than 10% Abbott’s correction should be applied before analysisentry into this application.
Under the 'Bioassays' tab, you can access the 'Field Population Results' tab(s) to add metadata for the trial, and the mortality values (i.e., number dead or knocked down) from 'pre', 'post', '12h post', '24h post', and '48h post' application.
A 'Totals' tab is also included to input the total number of mosquitoes per cage.
Once mortality data has been entered into the 'Field Population results' tab(s), a plot can be generated in the 'Analysis' tab that will visualize the averaged normalized mortality grouped by distance from the treatment line OR mortality that has been Abbott corrected.
Once all data has been entered in the 'Field Population results' tab(s), you will be able to extract the input data as a 'CSV' file using the 'Download CSV' button.
Additionally, there is an option to download a PDF report of plots using the 'Download report' button.
